


Bishop Calvin Scott is the founding pastor of Believers Temple Word Fellowship. He has been pastoring this thriving ministry for over 29 years.

Bishop Scott is a well-known community leader in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. He believes ministry should flow from the pews to the community. He serves on several community boards. Dr. Scott received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for serving the community from President Barack Obama. He is a strong advocate for the holistic approach to the kingdom of God. Focusing on family, marriage, children, youth, leadership and economic development.

He is the CEO for the Believers Temple Word Fellowship Urban Initiative CDC. In this position the BTWF Urban Initiative CDC has grown tremendously resulting in the development of three independent low income senior housing complexes totaling over 36 million dollars.

Bishop Scott is the recipient of an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida. He has a Master of Arts and Doctorate of Divinity degree from Remnant of the Lord Bible College, St. Louis, Mo. He has a Doctorate of Religious Philosophy, from the Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary, Tampa, Florida.
